FRANCES KRUK, poet
frances kruk likes grilled cheese sandwiches best of all and eats them on a regular basis in her happy Calgary home. She also likes red light bulbs, small shiny objects, fingerpainting, and standing barefoot in piles of clothing hot from the dryer. She has recently completed her first English degree at the University of Calgary, after which she will travel to another university to get another degree and more grilled cheese. Frances is a full- time flyer with the Tar Disaster Project (a local multi-disciplinary arts group) and writes and performs poetry/music according to their organo-robotic guidelines. Multi-media poetic performance - including visual art and original music - are quickly becoming her specialty and she collaborates regularly with a variety of artistic creatures to formulate strategic sensual attacks.
